Did the Native Indians of Newfoundland drive the Vikings (the first to discover America) back where they came?

I always thought that would make a good movie, go ahead steal my idea. I don't have the means to make it but I'd really love to see a movie about that.
Nah, I've done alot of research on this. Pretty sure it happened. With the Native that were wore alot of red in their cloths and red paint on their face. They were too savage and the Vikings were under constant attacks. Just in case we have any ignorant Americans (U.S. that is) Newfoundland is a Province in Canada.

The Vikings came across the sea when there was a warm period. For several generations they were able to trade back and forth until it got cold enough that there was lots of ice in the sea. They could not navigate much of the year. Their animals died and they starved.
Not as interesting a story as yours, especially for a movie.

Don't think they drove anyone anywhere. They didn't have cars, or even horses and buggies.

When the vikings came to the Americas, they had a fear of the natives, however they tried to accept their presence. There is an incident where they had a meal together and the indians were served milk. That was not a normal food on their diet and they were lactose intolerant, so most got sick, but when they recovered, the attacked the vikings and the vikings left

That's a joke, how come the Indians do not drink milk, they keep a lot of animals, cows sheep . . . . etc
but however, the idea of making a movie would effect the image of Christoffer Columbus being the explorer of the new world. and I don't know if this would be acceptable?
